When a glass of wine perfectly pairs with a dish, there is nothing quite like it. That’s why wine-pairing dinners are such a huge hit :: when it works, it works wonders. Next week Spencer’s For Steak & Chops is hosting a wine pairing dinner featuring Soter Vineyards wines hosted by their Director of Winemaking, James Cahill, one of the best and most knowledgeable winemakers in the industry.
Soter Vineyards produces some of best Pinot Noir in the country. In addition to great-tasting wine, the Willamette Valley, Oregon, vineyard is famous for its sustainable practices and is one of only 14 wineries in the world that is completely carbon neutral.
The evening is sure to be full of wine-pairing wonders thanks to summer dishes created by Chef James Plant of Spencer’s, pairings by Spencer’s Sommelier Louis Koppel and insights on the wine shared by host James Cahill of Soter.
